Cards

Card making was my first creative endeavour as an adult (after a long break from creativity on account of uni and school).  It was the first time I took up a creative medium without learning "how to" from a teacher or textbook beforehand. It was a big deal taking that first step toward learning on my own and just forging ahead figuring out how to make pretty things all by myself.

I find I don't create many paper projects these days because of the space they demand, which I now share with little children. I used to try to hand make birthday cards for friends and family, but now I usually save my card making for birth announcements and invitations to our babies' naming days.
